Thanks to everyone who came to our inaugural International Film Club showing of He Named Me Malala (rated PG). The afternoon was a chance to enjoy the film and to also think about how we can create global citizens in our classrooms. The two main global goals we discussed were #4: Quality Education and #5: Gender Equality. The Year 6s will also be viewing the film this term as part of their ‘Global Village’ Inquiry unit.

We hope this club will continue to grow and we expect to hold another event before the end of the year.
