On Thursday the 9th of November, we were visited by 26 teachers from various Indonesian schools and two people from their Ministry of Education and Culture. The purpose of their visit was to understand how an Australian school works and to observe our teachers and students. After going into classrooms to have a look, there was a Q&A session between our school’s student leaders and the Indonesian teachers. The day ended with an afternoon tea with TMPS staff where we developed cross-cultural understandings and made new friends. We look forward to working with our new Indonesian friends in future.
