The Grade 2s were so excited about Harmony Day! We had a very interesting morning sharing our knowledge about how to say ‘hello’ and count from one to ten in various languages. We also shared about the different traditions and cultural practices that are still observed in our families. Check out our speech bubbles! How many languages do YOU know how to say ‘hello’ in?

We had a fantastic time with our buddies after recess. We learnt about the Global Goals and how we can help achieve these goals as Global Citizens. We also learnt the song, ‘Together We Can Change The World’, which we sang later on during our whole school assembly.

After lunch, our teachers shared a few interesting stories and facts about their own culture and we got to learn more about the different cultural backgrounds of our teachers. We were so shocked to learn that our teachers come from so many different parts of the world!

Harmony Day ended off with a whole school assembly in the gym. A special thanks to the parents who also joined us for our assembly too!
