Some of you may have noticed that our bell music has changed recently. The kids sure enjoy listening to different music every day.

1. The learning outcome of having different songs from around the globe is so that students become aware of the wider world and other cultures. This is in line with one of the eight attributes of a TMPS global citizen from our Statement of Intent poster (see below).
2. We are listening to student voice by changing the music regularly.
3. We are playing music from different parts of the world to encourage discussion in the classroom and at home, e.g. ‘Where do you think this music is from?’ It is one of the ways that we are helping to internationalise education our school. The countries were chosen to represent a diverse mix from around the world.
