As part of Harmony Day 2018, 2JU worked with their buddies from 5MR and discussed different Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, after watching the video ‘How the kangaroo got its pouch’. Buddies worked together to create Aboriginal dot paintings, using paint and matchsticks, and then followed through by together creating a footprint that was put on display. The Year 2s enjoyed getting to know their buddies further and can’t wait to work with them again in Term 2!
